Payments Overview
Keep your seat—and your momentum!
We want you to stay on track. Please make sure to make payment arrangements to keep your class registration active.
Ways to Pay
There are different ways to pay for your educational journey at MC:
- Direct payments such as payment by a credit card, a check, or cash.
- Financial aid such as grants, scholarships, student loans, and work-study.
- A Tuition Installment Plan lets you spread your tuition into smaller payments throughout the semester. You can enroll in an interest-free Tuition Installment Plan and you don't have to pay your full balance all at once.
- Third Party/Sponsored payments such as payment by your employer, the military, or other organizations such as nonprofits.
You may also use a combination of these ways to pay.
Once payment arrangements are confirmed, you are ready for your classes! Please know that if you do not pay at the time of registration or select a payment option, your classes may be dropped for non-payment.
MC has two offices that assist with your financial journey: Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable.
- Financial Aid helps students find financial aid to pay for college, answers your financial aid questions, and guides you through the financial aid process.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) helps students understand and manage their student accounts. AR manages the college cashier offices, student billing, refund processing, issuance of 1098-T forms, posting payments on student's accounts, oversees the Tuition Installment Plans, and the collection of past due accounts. Please review this page for detailed information about Payment Options for Credit Courses.
Managing Your Student Account
The Accounts Receivable team helps students understand and manage their student account. See also Student Account FAQ.
Your student account information is accessible to you via MyMC new window. Your student account page in MyMC will allow you to make payments and view all aspects of your account as shown below. You must view your account information in MyMC often so that you know your account status. Some updates to your account will not occur until you log into your account as shown below. In MyMC, guidance for using your student account page can be found on the left side of the page in the announcement column or by scrolling down if you are using a handheld device. You may also visit a campus cashier office or email acctrec@montgomerycollege.edu for assistance with your transactions.
