Lifelong Learning programs offer a wide range of opportunities and activities throughout the county for 50+ Learners. There are more than 140 courses in variety of areas, including Art, Art History, Brain Fitness, History, Current Events, Personal Finance, Fitness, and more. Classes are available in-person or online.

Featured Class: Getting Started with Chicken Keeping and Eggs

Can you taste the difference between farm-fresh eggs? Why are there differences in yolk color? Do chicken eggs come in various colors, including blue, green, pink, white, light brown, dark brown, and purple, and why? Do chickens have personalities? Is it hard to keep chickens? Learn the answers to these questions and many more. See for yourself the edible eggs from at least
4 different farm birds, and learn about their differences in cholesterol, nutrients like Selenium, and sheer size! After this class, you should be able to assess whether you want a small flock of 4 chickens in your yard, or 80 chickens for selling eggs and eating bugs. TWA
