You will find inclusive communities, engaging classrooms, and dedicated faculty and staff ready to support your academic goals. Faculty and Staff Focus on Student Success

I appreciate the outreach to students and the energy that faculty and staff have shown in preparing for this semester. Our Professional Week was filled with innovation and a strong focus on our priorities for the year. Every one of us is an ambassador for MC’s mission, strengthening the connection between the College and the community. By working together, we can expand access, champion completion, and boost post-completion success for every student.

Winter Break on the Court

While winter break may seem like a quiet time at the College, MC’s basketball teams were hard at work. Both the men’s and women’s teams have played 10 games since winter break began, and both teams play at the College of Southern Maryland this Saturday. I invite you to come out and enjoy the excitementnew window— I invite you to come out and enjoy the excitement—and if you can’t make it in person, home games are livestreamed on the MCTV Raptors YouTube Channelnew window and MCTV cable channelsnew window. Game videosnew window are posted after the game. Athletics cultivate a powerful sense of belonging and support completion. At each game I attend, I am struck by how well these events also enhance our connections with the community. I salute the efforts and dedication of all our student athletes, their coaches, and mentors.

Have a wonderful first week of classes!
