The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) advances teaching excellence by providing faculty with practical, research-informed professional learning, instructional design expertise, consultation, and resources that support effective and innovative teaching. CTL helps faculty design engaging and accessible learning experiences, integrate instructional technologies, strengthen course design, and apply evidence-informed teaching practices across face-to-face, online, hybrid, and other learning environments.

CTL supports faculty throughout their professional journey through programs such as the Academy for Teaching Transformation, My Professional Learning Accountability Network (My PLAN), Faculty Learning Communities, teaching and learning institutes, workshops, consultations, and other collegewide professional learning opportunities. Its work emphasizes practical application, collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement while helping faculty connect their teaching practices to the College's broader goals for student learning and success.
